The Hayden School District offers Students, and Staff members their own school email. Use of school provided email is offered as a privilege and can be revoked at any time. All emails sent and received in the district are monitored and filtered by the school district. Use of school provided email is for educational and work purposes ONLY, all personal emails unrelated to Hayden School District need to go to your personal emails not school provided email.


When using your email provided by the school, use great vigilance, do not open suspicious looking emails or attachments. Even with advanced filters in place, It ultimately your responsibility to report accidental opening of suspicious attachments to the IT Department immediately to prevent viruses or malware from spreading through the district's systems. YOU are the first line of defense in our networks security.


Username

The Hayden School District provides email services through google. You can access your email by navigating to www.google.com/gmail the login to your google account is the same as your network account with the first initial of your first name followed by your last name with @haydenschools.org, for example Jessica Freedman would be “jfreedman@haydenschools.org”


Students Usernames are slightly different, Last Name, First Initial, followed by the year of graduation @haydenschools.org. For example Jessica Freedman who graduates in 2050 would be “freedmanj50@haydenschools.org”


Passwords

The default password is “Password123”, the first time you login you will be prompted to change your password. You can change your password at any time by navigating to the account settings page in your profile. If you forget your password contact the IT Department and we will reset it for you.


The student password format for the Secondary campus is the student lunch number, followed by “HSS!” For example if the student's lunch number was 1234 then the password would be “1234HSS!”. The student password format for the Elementary campus is the student lunch number followed by “HVE!”. For example if the student's lunch number was 1234 then the password would be “1234HVE!”.


Save all of your documents, pictures, projects in your Google Drive, in the event your computer crashes or gets damaged you will still have your files, data recovery off a corrupt hard drive may be impossible.
